Many of the best multiplayer games of the late nineties and two-thousands can no longer be played online: the official servers were switched off years ago. The games still work, and people still own them, but the place to meet other players is gone.
NOSTALGG brings that place back. It is an online service in the tradition of the LAN parties of that era: one lobby where you see who is online, chat, host a game or join one, and play the original game against real people. Every match runs on the same build for everyone, so version problems and broken patches are a thing of the past.
You get a player profile, a public lobby and private rooms with invite links, competitive rankings and ratings, and automatic replays of your matches. More community features are on the way as the service grows.
And it is always legal: you need your own official copy of each game. NOSTALGG never distributes game content. We only provide a tool for playing together again.
